The kids are out of school, and suddenly the home is full again. But first you're probably wondering where we've been for the last few weeks:
Exams were more intense this year, with 10 kids in Nagarwala School, and Ashwini taking her first exams ever. For nearly three full weeks, we had double (and sometimes triple) English study sessions, with even more for the older kids. But we all hung in there, and everyone came out of their exams (relatively) confident. We're sure they did great, as they always do, and now everyone is extra-ready to have their much-needed Summer holidays.
Summer started off with an extra treat this year: Liz (aka Elisa didi) got everyone their own art sets, and they've taken to them with amazing fervor. Our house has quickly become overpopulated with drawings of favorite sea animals, football players and, honestly, anything imaginable. Of course, the house has also filled with 11 kids running around, calling each other names, and basically tripping over themselves and everyone else. Mostly, we've just been enjoying our "time off" as much as possible, because we know that in less than two months, it's back to the grind at school!
Guess who's a little obsessed with Ramu...
It's time for final exams. Enough said.
